Lolita Christmas Inspiration Poem

Found a lovely Christmas poem and thought I'd share it with you guys!;)

What Do We Love About Christmas?
What do we love about Christmas;
Does our delight reside in things?
Or are the feelings in our hearts
The real gift that Christmas brings.
It's seeing those we love,
And sending Christmas cards, too,
Appreciating people who bring us joy
Special people just like you.
By Joanna Fuchs

I love the warmth and cosiness of a warm home when it's snowing outside. I also love the beautiful window decorations and Christmas lights everywhere I go. And I love the wonderful Christmasy smells of cinnamon, caramel, cakes, pies, vanilla, and burning wood on the stove.
What do all love about Christmas?

Thanks for reading and take care!

I have such wonderful news! I am allowed to purchase something of lolita for Christmas.
Though I'm not completely sure what to ask. I have narrowed it down to an OP I want I'm just not too sure which shoes will fit the best. I can sadly only choose one pair for now:P
But see for yourself and comment what you think of it!

Little Bear's Cafe OP

Cute wine coloured purse^^

This is where I can't make my mind up.:P Which to choose? These rocking horse shoes?

Or these cute brown Tea Parties!
Or these pink Tea Parties!
Or maybe these Pink shoes!:P

I really don't know:p I will combine this outfit with brown socks I think and I have a cute bear ears headpiece which I will combine. I'm hoping to purchase a wig too^^
And I will be wearing this coordinate for HyperJapan:D
I can't wait!

Lolita Christmas Inspiration- Decoration Tipp!

Christmas is on it's way to town! I'm so excited about it. I love Christmas it's one of my favorite times of year.
I just love all the lovely Christmas lights, Christmas shopping, hot coco with marshmallows, the atmosphere, wrapping myself up in layers and layers of clothes! I love wearing Lolita this time of year! And being all happy and jolly! I thought I'd post a few posts about my Lolita Christmas Inspiration. They will be about winter coordinates, decorations, presents and wrap ideas, Christmas poems and stories, Christmas backing recipes and lots more! Here my first Post on decorations: While reading Paifaitdoll's December Tips I came a cross a lovely Christmas Lolita decoration idea.

It's so colourful and cute!

I think I'm going to try this decoration for myself, but not only for Christmas. Maybe as a plain decor piece for in my room!

Either way it's such a lovely idea and I will definitely try it out! Thanks for reading and take care!

Day 19 – What’s in your make-up bag?

I have a pretty basic make-up/care treatment routine. I have a light mousterizer(white container on the left) for my face. This creme contains no perfume and other bad stuff. I'm pretty allergic to alot of things so I have to watch out not to get a rash.

Under that container is my baby body creme. I gathered that babies have lovely soft skin because of the products so I thought I'd use it too. Plus it's very skin friendly and smells really good:)

Next to that are my lipglosses (or labello chapsticks). I have a general care chapstick with camomile to treat my lips. The other is a passionfruit flavoured chapstick which also leaves a faint red/dark pink schimmer on my lips. Which is great because I don't like wearing lipstick or sticky lipglosses.

Above that is my make-up set of eyeshadow (nude/brown colour, I like natural shades) and pink eyeshadow for when I feel girlish. Next to that my brown eyeliner, loose mineral powder and a brush. I try to buy everything mineral based because I'm allergic to make-up. Which can be quite annoying. But it's a good thing. My skin can tell me whats bad for me and what I then shouldn't use.

Right in the back are my hand creme and deodorant. I usually don't use Dove but it was the only one I had in my bag this time. I believe I borrowed it from someone and forgot to give it back:P

On the right side is the rest of the make-up I use. I have two different kinds of foundation. One is from Rituals and is also mineral based and is one of the few foundations that doesn't react badly to my skin. The other was a gift and it just so happens that this one is great for my skin.

Also in the same row is my powder blush brush and my mascarra.

The little tube underneath is a anticeptic creme. It helps get rid of spots almost instantly. I love it. It's also good for wound healing. I've used it for years and never has it failed me!

Well thats pretty much it! I do hope to expand a little in colourpallets for different looks but it's a little tricky finding the right one for my skin and at a good price.

Help save Japan!!!

After reading a rather interesting article on the web, about how tourist levels in Japan have drastically dropped due to the recent natural disasters, I thought I'd write a blog to support Japan.

I can imagine that many tourists find it dangerous and unsafe to go on holiday there!
The Japanese economy is suffering terribly from this!

We need to show people that Japan is still a great country to visit as a tourist! I myself have had a long time dream to visit Japan and to see the culture for myself and see what it's like. Japan is by far the most different and interesting country I've come across!
I'm even learning the Japanese language for when I have saved enough to go there myself!
I'd love to go there and experience the Japanese bliss!

It would be a shame not to get a glimpse of it's history, culture, people, beautiful landscapes and buildings, should there be more disasters in the future.

So please support me on this and plan on going to Japan yourself! Because Japan is worth it.

(please read relevant article about the action):

Thanks for reading and I hope to have enlightens you.

Day 18 – A picture of your favorite lolita style.

Favorite lolita style? Hmmm....I still find it hard to believe but I'm really starting to love this sweet style. I couldn't really picture myself as a "pink frilly" thing. But I have to say it suits me well ^_^.

My favorite styles are sweet:

country lolita:

Guro Lolita:

and gothic(good ol' black)

Day 17 – What do you want more then anything right now?

I've been craving a bear themed lolita outfit lately:P

I've created an outfit with this cute brown yellow and brown pink colour coordination with a cute bear theme!

I'm hoping to purchase it soon. That is as soon as I've bought new furniture for my house. I mean I can't go on sitting only on banana boxes can I?^-^ (Ah the sacrifices one is willing to make for lolita fashion^_______^)

(The dress ^___________________________^)

(Short sleeve blouses in pink and yellow)

(Cute boots, tried to find these in yellow but with no luck:( )

(Caramel and brown split wig)

Bear Hat! (It's sooo kawaaaii^! ^.^)

(I thought the red would make a nice eye catcher^^)

This is a winter coordination, seeing the winter is comming on soon and the weathers not too summery either. Didn't really see the point in

ordering Tea Parties (even though I've been cravingg thoes for some time too).I've added a short sleeve blouse but also have a long blouse in mind, or I could also combine a nice cardigan with it.

Thanks for reading and take care!

Day 16 – Your outfit for the day.

Dress: Swan Lake:)

I love this outfit so much! It's one of my favorites^-^

High Tea meet Lelystad

I had such a blast yesterday at the Lolita High Tea meet organised by Deborah!
She was such a lovely host and prepared the most delicious food I have ever eaten at a high tea!

This was a chance for me to wear my new Sugary Carnival JSK with much pride! I love it so much!^_^"Click to enlarge."

We all met up at the station in Lelystad. We were a total of 7 people (my bf came along too^^). Though the last person arrived a little later.

Anyways we were driven to Batavia stad, which is an outlet shopping village. I was so cutely decorated and the houses looked so lovely. It reminded me somewhat of Disneyland:)

We all took some photos as a memoire of the wonderful day. It was a shame that it rained though.
But luckily we were nice and dry inside before it started to pour down like mad.

Everything was home made at the high tea, there were; scons, sousjes (coloured in pink icing sugar), cake lolies, chocolate frosted cupcakes, egg cake covered in caramal, swiss roll, chocolate biscuits filled with cream, apple tartlets, and some more I can't remember. And of course TEA! One girl, Naomie bought some special jasmine tea.
What you do is place the bulb into a glass teapot (so you may observe how it blooms open in the water). It looked so beautiful plus tastes really nice. I didn't need to add any honey at all.
All and all it was very delicious."Click to enlarge."

Though my favorite were the cake lollies decorated as pink kitties and piggies, and the choclade frosted cupcake:D Hmmm yum yum!

And of course to finish up we had a group photo!

I had so much fun that day, and it was one of the first meetings I've enjoyed myself so much at. Plus the people were so lovely to meet. So thanks everyone for the nice day!

Thanks for reading and take care!

Day 15 – A picture of your last lolita purchase.

Now I finally have the chance to talk about my Sugary carnival order which finally arrived this week! I am very pleased!:)

I was overjoyed to receive it from the postlady!

I ordered the Angelic Pretty Sugary carnival JSK replica in lavender, from an internet retailer, called clobbaonline! They have such a lovely selection of clothes.
With this I also ordered a white petticoat, a heart shaped bag, socks, and white shoes.
I didn't purchase the matching headbow with it, which I did regret afterwards, ghrrr.

The service was very good, the only negative point was the long long wait. They did apologise and informed me everytime about the process of my order. They also only took 1 day or a few hours to reply to e-mails I sent, and were always friendly.

Everything was inside 1 box, which looked like some had played football with it. But luckily nothing on the inside was damaged.

Well here a glimpse of my items, for the curious ones:

The whole set!

Sugary Carnival order "still" on hold!

I still can't believe it! I am still waiting for my order to arrive!

It's been almost 2 months now with so much delay! Though the contact service is good I'm starting to get just that little bit annoyed! The order has been sent out via China last week and I hoped it would be in by today so I might wear it for sunday's meet. But unfortunately this may not be the case senario :(

I had ordered a replica "Sugary Carnival" JSK which was tailored to my own size ( this does explain the long wait parcially) in lavender. Along with a white poof petticoat (one I did not yet have in my possession ), cutesy shoes, a heart shaped bag, and lovely socks.

Hopefully it will be in by next week. I really do hope so!:) Hope to make my next purchase soon. I think around september (it being my birthday and all ^_^).

Day 14 – A picture of your dream item

I find it so incredibly hard to choose just "one" because I have so many favorites. So I think I will choose randomly from the group of items I desire most at this moment. And which I haven't yet mentioned on this blog.

Melty Mermaid Princess jumper skirt

This JSK is due for July this year. I would love to purchase it then but I think it will be a little later this year. Can't wait :D
I love this dress mostly because of it's little Mermaid Ariel theme. Which is my favorite fairytale. I love the authentic pictures in the material, telling a little story as it goes along. I prefere the light blue and dark blue version the most. It gives you that
underwater feel :)

If you look it up on the BTSSB Alice and the Pirates website you can see more detail. In the back are little bubbles which I think is so cute^^

You have about different versions with this material: a JSK, OP and skirt.
Further more the different accessories that go with it.
